Ferlat Silvano
A family owned cellar started in 1950, located in the eastern part of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The basic concept that drives the company is that of research and production of wines with a distinct personality, recognizable and mature.
The quality of the grapes goes through the utmost respect for the environment

The small family-run company, founded in 1950, is located producing and collecting its fruits in the eastern part of Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the renowned DOC Friuli Isonzo. They cultivate the 5 hectares of vineyards  with organic farming methods.

The basic concept that drives the company is that of research and production of wines with a distinct personality, recognizable and mature. To achieve this they use the most advanced techniques, but in the absolute respect of nature and tradition to obtain grapes that allow them to produce wines .

In the vineyard, thought is very simple and straightforward. They look for the minimum environmental impact in the cultivation of plants and for this reason all the vineyards are totally grassed with herbs that develop spontaneously.

The company is in the process of conversion to organic farming; consequently, treatments with synthetic chemicals are banned, they use only copper and sulfur for the control of vine and grape diseases and fertilizers of organic and animal origin in order to find the highest quality and naturalness of the grapes.

Wines

Pinot Grigio

The color is a shiny copper, almost salmon that recalls the color of the pinot grigio grapes seen against the light. The fragrance is clearly distinguished delicate floral notes, yellow fruit, cherry and strawberry, candy. In the mouth it is fresh, young and with an acid and mineral vein that favors its drinkability, but at the same time enveloping sapid and glyceric and with strong references to fruit, even pomegranate.

Sauvignon

Straw-yellow white wine with evident green reflections, an exuberant aroma, reminiscent of yellow and white flowers, elderberry, mint, exotic and not fruit (grapefruit, pineapple, passion fruit, white peach, apricot and plum yellow). Fresh wine, immediate, with great freshness and acidity, but at the same time gustative length.

Sessanta

Very intense ruby red color, deep and impenetrable with violet reflections. It has a very rich and complex scent that manifests itself changing over time; first notes of red and black fruit (fresh and ripe), then explodes the sensations of spices and roasted coffee, liquorice and a light roasting, with a long aromatic persistence.
